Shaldag has planned the construction of a 10.000 ton catfish farm near Lagos. The project is divided into four construction phases of 2500 ton production each. The catfish grow from egg to market weight in just six months with a feed conversion rate (FCR) of 0.82. The first construction phase was completed in 2017 and in this same year the first product was sold. The project is the largest RAS in Africa.
